The Challenger 300 market continues to be strong. Although the number of transactions are significantly lower than previous quarters, inventory continues to fall. The number of units available for sale has dropped for the past three quarters, with 15 available, which is the lowest number available in over two years. Just under 3.5% of the fleet is available for sale. Pricing has rebounded slightly, most likely the result of falling inventory. This is a good time to sell a Challenger 300, as pricing is still strong and the inventory is dwindling.
The Challenger 350 market has exploded. The second quarter saw 14 sales, which is nearly triple the number in the previous quarter, and the highest number in over three years. There were six units listed for sale in Q2, which is the same as the previous quarter, and just under 1.5% of the total fleet. After holding steady for three quarters, pricing has made a modest jump. This would be a good time to sell a Challenger 350, as buyers are plentiful, and pricing is still strong.
After dropping for the previous two quarters, Gulfstream G280 inventory levels have increased significantly to record levels. There were 14 units on the market in Q2, which is four more than in the previous quarter. Just over 4.5% of the G280 fleet is currently listed for sale. Four aircraft sold in Q2, which is two fewer than in the previous quarter. Pricing in this market continues to trend downward, with decreases in three consecutive quarters. This is a good time to purchase a G280, as inventory is abundant, and pricing continues to slide.
The number of Embraer Super Mid-Size aircraft available for sale is holding steady after previous record levels. There were 14 of this series available for sale in Q2, which is the same as the previous quarter, but still more than double the number available at the middle of 2023. The second quarter saw just under 4% of the fleet available for sale. Pricing in this market continues to modestly decline, with decreases for the past three quarters. Sales activity has dropped significantly from the previous two quarters. Only two aircraft of this type sold in Q2, which was six fewer than the previous quarter. This would be a good time to purchase this aircraft series, as pricing continues to fall, and there is ample inventory.
