Phenom 100 inventory has climbed 75% since the beginning of 2019, compared to a seven percent increase in the entire very light jet market inventory during this time frame. There are currently 42 Phenom 100’s listed for sale, up from just 24 during February of 2019. Current levels now represent 14% of the activate fleet. 45% of listings were brought to market in the past 120 days. 76% of current listings were manufactured in 2009 or 2010, which is not surprising, as those model years make up nearly 70% of the active fleet. As we get further into 2020, more of the 2010’s are being offered with fresh 10 year inspections and gear overhauls. Very light jet market activity slowed to just 10 transactions in April, compared to 27 a year ago.
After remaining stable through most of 2019, Phenom 300 inventory has jumped up over 80% since December. Compare that to the entire light jet market, where inventory has grown just one percent over that same time frame. Now at 29, current listings are up from just 16 during Q4 2019. Current inventory levels represent 6.2% of the active fleet. Taking a closer look at these listings, nearly 50% have been listed in the past 120 days. Model years 2014 and 2015 make up 29% of the active fleet, and represent 36% of the current listings. Light jet market activity slowed to just 15 sales in April, down from 56 transactions a year ago.
