Challenger 300, Challenger 604, Challenger 605
Strong demand has pushed Challenger 300 inventory to its lowest level in recent years. There are currently 15 Challenger 300s listed for sale, half of what was on the market a year ago. Just 3% of the active fleet is listed for sale. Demand has remained strong now for the past year, with Q2 2021 producing an astonishing 15 transactions, the most we’ve seen in recent years. As you can imagine, pricing has bounced back from 2020 lows, now showing an increase, the first since the end of 2019. With low inventory, strong demand, and increasing prices, now is the perfect time to sell your Challenger 300.
Challenger 604 demand has bounced back from a slow first quarter, and inventory continues to decline. There are currently 24 Challenger 604s on the market, down 25% from peak inventory Q3 2020. 7% of the active fleet is listed for sale, the lowest level since Q1 2020. There were 11 transactions during the second quarter, making 15 sales on the year. The Challenger 604 market hasn’t seen significant price increases like some others, but pricing does remain steady. With low inventory and strong demand, now is still a great time to sell your Challenger 604.
Challenger 605 inventory is nearly 40% less than what it was a year ago. Currently, there are just 19 Challenger 605s for sale, the fewest since Q2 2019. This has taken its toll on transactions, with just two sales taking place during the second quarter. There have now been 10 sales on the year, slightly behind the 11 that sold YTD in 2020. Pricing has strengthened, the first time since Q1 of 2019. With low inventory, and buyers struggling to find quality aircraft to purchase, now is a great time to sell your Challenger 605.
