The Gulfstream G200 market plodded along throughout 2020. In Q4 2020, there were 22 units on the market, which is eight fewer than Q4 2019, and the lowest number in nearly two years. There have been only four sales this past quarter, which is well less than a third as many as a year ago. However, sales activity remained steady for the past three quarters. This would be a good time to purchase a G200, as there is still a decent amount of inventory and fewer buyers.
The Gulfstream G280 has finally become an established market. After long periods of very few aircraft on the market, there has been an ample amount of inventory in 2020. In Q4, there was an average of 13 on the market, which is one more than the Q4 2019 average. There were eight sales last quarter, compared to four sales a year ago, which is also a quarterly record. Pricing continues to be sluggish, with slight price declines for the past three quarters. This would be a good time to either buy or sell a G280, as there is a good selection of inventory and active buyers.
