Hawker 800XP inventory has reached its lowest level in three years. Currently, just 41 aircraft are for sale, down nearly one third from a year ago. Of the current listings, roughly one fourth are Pro Line 21 equipped. As far as transactions, the fourth quarter was the most active quarter in recent years. 21 aircraft sold, making 53 total sales on the year and exceeding 2019 numbers. On average, pricing is holding steady. However, the lack of US-based Pro Line 21 equipped options is resulting in rising values for the later model years. With low inventory and high demand, now is the perfect time to sell your Hawker 800XP.
850XP demand remains strong as we head into the first quarter of 2021. There were six sales during Q4 2020, bringing 2020 totals to 20. Even with a slow second quarter, 2020 transactions were the highest recorded in the past four years. Inventory levels are also dropping. There are currently just 12 850XP’s for sale, a 40% reduction in the past year. The lack of quality options has resulted in prices firming up. With strong demand and a lack of competition, now is a great time to list a Hawker 850XP.
Hawker 900XP inventory continues to decline, and activity is picking up. There are currently 12 Hawker 900XP’s for sale, down nearly 43% from a year ago. Current inventory levels represent 7% of the active fleet, the lowest we’ve seen in recent years. It was a busy fourth quarter, with seven sales occurring, the most we’ve seen since Q2 2019. Even with a strong finish to the year, 2020’s sales totaled only 16, down from both 2018 and 2019. Low inventory has kept pricing firm, with values remaining unchanged from last quarter. With low inventory and strong prices, this market has become favorable for sellers.
